Solar Panels Farm to rise in Sarnia, Canada

The Canadian government just signed a giant contract with OptiSolar to build a massive array of solar panels in the outskirts of Sarnia, Southwestern Ontario. The contract is for $300M which will cover the construction and support of the 400 hectare solar panels array which will produce approximately 40 Mega-Watts of electricity that can power a whole city - approx. 6,000 homes on average power consumption...
The project is estimated to be finished by 2010 and will open numerous construction position during the building process. This will also have enormous environmental effect and is compared to taking 200,000 cars off the road in carbon-dioxide emissions and help prevent pollution in the Sarnia areal.
