Bush launches Solar America Initiative with high hopes

While people are leaning more and more towards "clean" energy sources, the power of the sun will not be enough to supply the world’s demands. Put in the power of the wind and you still get a small percentage of the whole energy consumption.
President Busch recently launched his "SAI" or Solar America Initiative with high hopes of achieving 1-2 million homes powered by solar panels in the next 10 years. The initiative also involves a new kind of solar panels that can get up to 40 percent efficiency using the new multi-junction solar cell - a revolutionary technology that outperforms the old cells by more than 20 percent. Would this plan work? Only the future will tell but with prices as low as 5-10 cents per kilowatt it‘s a reasonable assumption...
With federal tax credit of up to $2k and rebates all across the US you can safely assume that the solar panel future looks a bit brighter.
